Heartfelt
Hello Stamping friends,
I was privelidged enough to be able to attend the Stampin' Up! Heartfelt regional event in Sydney over the weekend. It was a chance for me to escape tassie for 2 days, and spend some much needed time with my beautiful upline, Kelly.
It was a great day bringing demonstrators together from all over the state and was a chance to learn techniques, play with products, meet new people, make projects, and gain vast amounts of inspiration!!
There were so many amazing projects on display both on the share boards, and demonstrated in workshop presentations. It was really great to see how some of those beautiful projects are put together, and see how some of the understated products can be so useful!
Some of my favourite understated products that have made it onto my wish list are:
clear block cleaning cloth
stampin' pierce mat
bone folder
silicone craft sheet (holiday catty p31)
snow festival designer printed tags
natural composition specialty DSP
I could keep adding things, but I will stop there. Contact me if you would like info on any of these products, or if you are intrigued as to why I think they are so useful.
Hopefully next year they will bring a regional event to Tassie. The event is also open to guests of demonstrators and is a chance for them to see the heart of Stampin' Up!

Last week's class
Last Friday I held a Christmas Stamp-A-Stack class.
This is when we get together and I teach you how to make 6 Christmas cards that you can add to your stash to send out at Christmas time.
We had a great time catching up and creating together. I really loved seeing people alter my design and put their own spin on it.

its been a while...
Hi Friends,
I know its been a while since I posted anything, I was lucky enough to get a horrible bug and just as i was nearly over it, I picked up another one. I'm on the mend now, but just wanted to share some news about the new catalogues.
The new annual one will be out in September, and unfortunately some stamps will be retiring (no longer available) - there is hope though - if you have a wish list you haven't fulfilled yet - we will find out in 2 days which products will be retiring and which ones will remain available in the new catalogue.
I will post the details when they are released. This means that you will have one month to get an order in if there are some stamps you just can't live without!
There will no longer be any mini catalogues, but there will be new seasonal catalogues which are a bit bigger. A new holiday one will start on Sept 1 too - so I will also post that link when it is made public. There are some really beautiful sets available - I'm lucky enough to have had a sneak peek... Can't wait!!
If you are interested in booking a workshop for September when the new catalogue begins, just let me know and we can work out a date. Or if you'd like to host a workshop before that you could have the chance to earn your favourite retiring stamp sets for free before they're gone!!
So get in touch and keep in mind that I also run regular classes - I'm about to update the class list to the right shortly, and I'd love to do private classes for any groups that might be interested - there are always new techniques to learn, fun to be had and new people to get to know...

Reason to Smile
It's my beautiful friend Jackie's birthday today. So I thought I'd make her a card with the limited edition "Reason to Smile" stamp set that is only available this month. For the first time I used a colour combination off the back of one of the sample cards in the colour coach fan deck and realised I have been underutilising this valuable tool. I really love how the card turned out and its not a combination I would have picked out of my head. NOW SELLING!!
I have recently been able to place some of my cards and gifts in a local store and I've added a slideshow to the left displaying them and also some I still have that are ready to be sold.

I'm going to sell my valentine's cards (some of which are in the slideshow to the right) in a couple of shops in town so I have to get them packaged up ready to go.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
I hope you've all had a great Christmas and are looking forward to lots of fun and creativity in 2012.
